What are Lash Extensions?
Lash extensions are synthetic fibers that can be applied to the natural lash to enhance your volume, length, and fullness, or eye shape.
At Spectre Esthetics, both traditional and UV applications are available giving you the option to choose what method you prefer! The traditional application uses a glue that cures using the humidity and temperature of the environment. UV application uses a glue that is light cured and not dependent on the environment.
Using the application method you prefer, your lash artist will attach an extension to every healthy natural lash in your desired style.

How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?
With proper application and aftercare you should be able to go several weeks between fill appointments!
With (or without) lash extensions, most people shed 3-5 lashes per eye per day. However, the speed of your lash growth/shedding can vary from person to person. Most of my clients prefer to come in around the 3 week mark. This allows for removal & replacement of any outgrown lash extensions as well as placement of extensions on new “mature” lashes.
It is important to keep an eye on how quickly your lashes grow. When the lashes grow, the extension grows with them. Over time the extension will be further away from the lash line, and the change in weight distribution can cause the lash to turn/flip. Over time, excessively outgrown lashes that are “turning” can cause damage to your natural lash. That is why it is important to schedule regular fill/maintenance appointments to keep your lashes healthy!
